 When selling a home in Cherry Hill, you must obtain a Certificate of Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Compliance prior to the settlement date. The certificate will be issued at the time of the inspection if the home is found to be compliant; if the home is not compliant, a re-inspection will be necessary. Certificates are valid for ninety days.
