Station 8, located on Cropwell Road in the Old Orchard neighborhood, was built by the Deer Park Fire Company in 1968. The station was designed to house a large group of firefighters responding from Old Orchard and surrounding neighborhoods east of Springdale Road all the way to the Deer Park headquarter facility on Marlkress Road. Also, this station independently handled calls in the easternmost areas of the Township, and responded as backup for the Marlkress firefighters.

Members of the Deer Park Fire Company still staff this station and have established "REHAB 13" that responds to significant, prolonged emergencies in support of Cherry Hill firefighters, and emergency workers throughout the southern part of New Jersey.
